This week’s 1st Power Word is vital to effective communication…SPECIFICITY!

SPECIFICITY is often lacking in much communication today, which is ironic since we have more outlets for transmitting communication than ever.

Yet, it’s the substance of communications that is often lacking.

Leaders must be vigilant in their communication to ensure there is the right amount of SPECIFICITY in communication.

Leaders that expect SPECIFICITY in communication between themselves and direct reports will ensure people and teams are set up for success, while reducing the time and energy necessary to achieve high levels of success.

‘Til next time, make it a great week!
