Conscious Communicator Power Word #58 – FORGIVENESS (

This week’s 2nd Power Word may be the most difficult for me to write about, the most difficult to put into action, and one of the most important…FORGIVENESS!

I can’t do justice to the concept of FORGIVENESS. There are thousands of others who can do it better. I suggest doing a Google search and reading about its power.

I just know it’s important for living a healthy, happy life.

I do know it’s about letting go of anger and resentment of someone (or something) that caused a hurt or wrong us in some way.

It’s not easy, but it is essential.

We all have things we’ve done for which we’d like FORGIVENESS, so maybe we should offer it first.

Plus, no one has to know we’ve done it, but us. FORGIVENESS is truly about making ourselves healthier and happier. So, why not just let it go.

’til next time,  give it a try and let me know how it goes!

  1. Mark Pratt says:

As a Christian, if one considers the extent of the forgiveness he has received and the price that was paid for that forgiveness, it humbles you and makes it much easier to forgive others.

  2. Sharon Blanchard says:

My experience with Forgiveness is that it’s not a one shot deal. Whether I need to Forgive myself (which is sometimes the hardest one of all)or I need to ask for Forgiveness, or Forgive another, it’s a practice…kind of like Yoga. It’s not about achieving Forgiveness or a yoga pose, it’s about the process of getting there. If I am practicing Forgiveness for either past or present issues, I am creating a mindset and a way of being that gives me peace, transparency, authenticity and happiness….and makes me humble and human.
