This week’s Power Word is about higher levels of maturity…RESPONSIBLE!
I like to provide a different perspective on the word RESPONSIBLE, which I’m certain conjures an initial impression.
My alternate definition centers on breaking the word into the two separate words that make it up, “response” and “able.” When you look at RESPONSIBLE in this context it provides a different perspective.
In developing direct reports as a leader this is the perfect approach to the word RESPONSIBLE because you should want to create people who are “able” to “respond” in situations, to make decisions, solve problems and take action.
